   1. Not sure whether to laugh or cry from what he said. Ha ha ha ha. Guess I’m laughing.

      1. Well, at least he reads your stuff.

      2. Actually, he waits for them. He says he loves to read ’em at work and say, “That’s my wife!” I asked him if he got it that day bc he had been swamped. =)

   1. And I had been sO touched from that first dialogue earlier this year. *Laughing, shaking head*

   1. I never want polite feedback. I can honestly say I want the truth, esp in my art. Else how can I improve? =)

9. All I can say is that it keeps us humble! (Our spouses must be afraid that exceeding a certain number of compliments will make our heads too big!)

10. So, his was a sideways way of demonstrating that “Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.”

       VERY simple man.
       He doesn’t do anything sideways.
       (Remember he’s not a woman!! LOL)
       I think part of his simplicity is how he keeps his mental dashboard clean. With his awful memory, I think he forgot how much he admired my writing.
       ROAR!!

    1. I think it’s his extremely short memory. He had forgotten what he really thought about my writing, his earlier word of praise. LOL

12. I believe men do not overthink things. And often they way under think. In this case, based on his previous comments, I believe he was attempting to tell you it was so good it could have been written by a world famous author. What an affirming thing to say!

       Actually, I’ve been telling some of the commenters how simple he is and what a short memory he has. I know he just forgot what he really thought of my writing. LOL.

       And there you go…look what you did. You – as a woman – took the time to READ INTO his strange behavior ha ha ha. Yin/yang makes the world ’round.

    BTW, I have one of these too (same inattentiveness to detail) and am grateful he loves me.

       1. Oh, you can be sure i got frustrated at times! To keep from fighting about his inattentiveness, we used to joke about his having “wife deafness.” Then we discovered he really is deaf–and not just a little either. It likely has been years since he heard any consonant sounds at all, but I am happy he lip reads very well. ❤ We also invested in a really nice pair of hearing aids.
