He….well, he…pulls down the covers and does the hard work
of opening his mouth for the nice hot water and pills.

YES! Only the worst of illnesses–usually involving nausea and/or high fever–will keep me from doing the day’s housework. But Hubby or son complain about having to so much as make broth while sick. Sigh…..
Hopefully he redeems himself in health. =)
Oh, so true… so true. Sometimes you have to wonder If not having that double X chromosome is what makes men so helpless. Unless, of course, ‘he” happens to be a single Dad.
Hear hear for single dads. They are short shrifted.
And still finds the time to write wonderfully 🙂
Eh. Time, our ruthless enemy.
Ditto
Hopefully the ‘he’ here is a three year old boy 🙂
LOL. Well, that was the point. A sniffle can reduce 165 pounds to 40. =)
I do agree with this, and not only the flu, mostly about anything that can harm a man’s life, healthy speaking.
At some point I used to argue with my partner and asked why I do a ton of things and he is not even moving out from the bed? We are a team, we have to work together, right?
Sometimes I doubt that, mostly in the flu season when he is affected.
Thank you for posting this and bringing me a smile on the face. Btw, you have a great blog and your posts are amazing. Thank you for sharing and keep up the good work! 😊🌹✨
Life becomes even simpler for them when they’re sick: I’m sick. Why run around? LOL. I appreciate the follow.
Yes, right! I only follow what inspires me!
Have a great week 🌺🌸
So true, but a man’s pain tolerance is lower for a reason. (I haven’t worked out why that is yet, but someone must be working on it)
So that women would carry the honor and power of giving birth (which I did at home). =)
so late to comment – but there is truth, wisdom (and a little chuckle) here! Linda xx
Not late. Post timeless. LoL.
🥰well put, thanks!🤣
This hit hard! 😂 Reminds me of the division of labor in my own house, even when I’m just sitting here “supervising” the carpet cleaners. The things we do… sigh. Thanks for the laugh!
LoL. I promise the world will stop spinning without women.
