Good hearing from you, Brad. I seized a crack of time that opened up before a pile of papers heads my way. Teaching remotely doesn’t allow me to connect with students as I love to in person, but I am thankful to be kept safe. I hope you are well. Staying fit and happy? 100 daily push-ups? =)

I did my first year at Bryn Mawr. I miss you, Pam! I hope you’ve been able to write if you’ve grown inured to all the jarring news about COVID. Trying to get fresh air has been a silly dream with all the wildfires here.
Wow, can’t even imagine. Riding my bike everyday has been my saving grace during covid.
I’m sure your students were enamored with you. You writing obvi hasn’t suffered from your teaching, Diana. 😘❤️

It was tough with an active kid and a working hub. My parents came in Sept. Now that’s huuuge help.

I can’t imagine being trapped indoors for wks. on end due to wildfire smoke. We got wildfire smoke drifting in from fires in British Columbia.
I hope the air’s cleared there.
We had it only for a few days..but enough with air quality warnings. I suppose the air where you are is still not good?
It rained today! I think for the second time this year (after a sprinkle in Spring). It poured, and I expected the rain to clean the air. But then it still smelled of smoke after! How does that work??
🙁 I wonder if the smoke has impregnated itself in some foliage??? 🙁 I’ve never heard of that but then your area has multiple weeks of wildfire smoke.
I’m late to these, but enjoyed them very much. I hope to read more of your poetry.

He is great. Thanks for asking. Serious about physical and spiritual fitness. =) Ah – I didn’t know Australia is more limited in that way. America certainly is a plentiful nation with many opportunities. And doors that don’t readily open you can often kick down, lol.
