Hey, he’s just a kid, right? (Or are you talking about his father?) If he can have fun with it now, he’ll learn without even trying. He’s already way better than I can ever hope to be.
‘ts alright. I took piano as a kid. Left it. Then took it up again when my daughters were little. left it again. Now, I’m thinking of going back to it. ๐
(The only problem is that every time it’s like learning from scratch)
The kiddo just made my morning. Big smiles all around. Heart full.
Thanks, Michele. I hope you caught my last comment, left a while ago. I don’t need the replies – just letting you know because my comments land in bloggers’ Spam box sometimes.
Wow, wow, wow!!! Just watching Tennyson truly falling into the scene and music, incredible. Beautiful. And the best part ~ the smile and laughter at the end. Brilliant. What a perfect post to begin my weekend with ๐ Congratulations Mom ๐
I recall a story you related a few years ago about Tennyson tapping along to the backbeat. I remember thinking in that moment that it probably was only a matter of time before he was on his way as a musician, and here he is. The evident happiness on his face while playing that beautiful instrument brought a big smile to mine. ๐
Thanks, Rob. I so appreciate your remembering that, your sharing in the details as well as the mileposts of our journey. Ironically, we’ve been having a hard time with our prepubescent boy. We fear that he’s been riding on his talent, not putting in the work, and the talent’s wearing thin. We are in the process of taking some stringent measures to help him get it together. Been a rough ride.
AAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!! Chills!!!! AAAahh!!!!! Omg, congratulations!!!! Let me know, please! I hope she’s not had it too hard. You must’ve been beside yourself when you found out. It only gets better (’til their body gears up for puberty. Then, my condolences).
Wonderful and clearly having a lot of fun!
Thanks. Yes, that’s what it’s about. Thanks. =)
Good evening ๐

Good! I wanted to break up all the introspection over here and the gloom-doom out there with some joy.

Gracias. =)
The kid is clearly having fun….. I’m loving his smile.
Thought we could all use a picker upper, these hard times. But I wish the kid would practice more. Life ain’t Disneyland. ^ ^
I don’t know but it looks perfect to me.
It is so nice to see the youngster taking the time to teach the oldster!!!!! Tell him oldsters like me appreciate it!
Ha ha ha. Will let him know, from our resident photographer.

Hell yeah you got the views. That is delightful jamming!
Ha ha ha ha. He loves it when we jam together, Dad on his own set and Mom on piano. =)
So he is your son…he is adorable and talented!
Oh, of course, if you say he’s those things. =)
I can see this mother’s cheshire cat grin. Well almost.
Super cool!
Thx. =)
Cool beans. Clearly, they were having fun and have talent. Kudos!
Thanks, B. They were all serious the first few takes and then lost it by the end of the last ones.
Yay! The element of play adds so much to music and life!
AWESOME. I love the giggling at the end.
I don’t know anyone who can not laugh watching kids in their joy. =)
Impressive.
Thanks, K. He doesn’t put in the work I’d love to see from him. Sigh. Someday.

Ha ha, yes, I was talking about our son. Thanks.
He is good! Takes after his mom, right? ๐
His dad’s the drummer (though he’s outshined Dad at this point). We are thankfully all musical. =)
Awesome.
Thx. ๐
Love it!
=)
You get “loves” from me. Cool!!!
Will take ’em. Thanks, Kate.
Wonderful fanfare for beginning the weekend!
Thanks for viewing, Ina.
So joyful, Tennyson is clearly loving it ๐

Love it!
Thanks. =)
Fun and talent. Lovely combo! ๐
Hopefully he’ll keep up both. Thanks, D.
That would be beautiful. ๐
I love Tennyson’s smile as if to say he wouldn’t want to be any other place in that moment!
Such a great description, Debbie. If only we can all know that kind of joy daily, right? An imperative for musicians esp. Thanks.
Diana, You’ve never been more right.
Great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-Alan
Ha ha ha. Thx for the peek, Alan.
Now that was a morning smile!
=) GOOD. Thx.
Veeeery good. Congratulations to the artists. (Drums ain’t easy)
And you are the “piano (wo)man”?
Yes, I am. =) We have an old drum-piano duet here, but nothing I feel compelled to present again.

Thanks, Randy. He now needs to work on refining the details, engaging the subtleties. You understand as an artist. =)
Joyful post. Lovely. Happiness is so important for daily living!
Thanks, Walter. I love how you put it.
Wow, there is much joy in that!
Thanks, A. =)
How did I miss THIS one?! Look at that smile:). That smile is what it’s all about, baby!
Ain’t it? I must’ve telepathied you over. Was thinking about you. Hope you are well, K.
Synchronicity with a tad of jive. Even the chuckle at the end was in rhythm!
Ha ha ha. A most astute audience. Thanks.
This makes me happy ๐
Good. =) We should bring one another happiness. Thx.
๐
Of course you Will be famous.
Kind regards,
=) Thanks, Rob.

D.
Oh my. I’ll certainly be praying for him. And his parents.
As for me, I’m doing well. Lauren and I are expecting in February. We find out this weekend whether it’s a boy or girl.
AAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!! Chills!!!! AAAahh!!!!! Omg, congratulations!!!! Let me know, please! I hope she’s not had it too hard. You must’ve been beside yourself when you found out. It only gets better (’til their body gears up for puberty. Then, my condolences).
Late to this, bu what’s not to like. The pleasure the two of them are getting…
=) Was a great project. Thanks, Julie.
