Thanks for popping by my blog – the burden of wings. Your blog is beautiful with lovely pieces…I especially like the one about your husband and the text message. I once tried emailing my husband instead of talking to him…it worked really well but i found it too demoralising and depressing to keep it up 🙂
I will have to give this some consideration, as well as send a message to my pastor, as he’s the exclamation mark king.
=)
Good reminders, Diana. Remove cliches and the writer bares him/herself to the readers more, making the story even more visible.
=) It’s a feast of options available to the writer. No need to for what’s canned.
Simplify, simplify, simplify…I guess is the mantra.
Thanks for the Like on my blog. I would appreciate comments on my blog as well!

Too depressing, huh? Hope your face-to-face has been good. Thanks for the good word on my blog. It was a pleasure to visit.

Totally on point! Painful to read (or be guilty of writing) a piece that feels like a poorly made rom com.
LOL Dear of you. We’re all a work in progress.
