I'm an artist, writer, designer, and generally curious person. Now I live in the top left corner of the US, surrounded by incredible mountains, water, forests, and fabulous people. Before that, I spent a decade living Denton, Texas—north of Dallas/Ft Worth and south of the known galaxy before I‘d moved there from the Seattle area. I taught university art, writing, critical thinking, and study/research methodology for a couple of decades before going freelance in 2008 to explore the wider world. All of it shaped my heart in innumerable ways. I’m also delighted to be married to a superb [music] conductor. My family and universe have expanded exponentially over the past quarter century through him, his work and fellow musicians; music and its connexions perpetually maintain a powerful influence on my own art forms. While I *am* capable of serious thinking, my tendencies are always inclined toward more frivolous things. You'll get used to it.
